Margaret Smolik Dolezal, our loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother of 89 years made her journey home on July 19, 2019. She was born in Williamsburg on May 15, 1930 to Frank A. and Pauline Kutach Smolik. After attending Williamsburg School, Margaret drove herself and 3 other girls to town to attend high school in a Model T Ford car and graduated from Hallettsville High School in 1948.
Margaret married Howard Glen Dolezal Sr. on June 14, 1948 at Sacred Heart Church in Hallettsville, TX. She was a devoted wife for 71 years and was blessed with four children, Donna, Susan, Glen Jr., and Harold. She and Glen owned and operated Glen's Packing Company and Meat Market.
Margaret was known for her love of family, gardening, and cooking. She spent countless hours working in her yard and was especially proud of being honored with "Yard of the Month" numerous times. She enjoyed trips to Las Vegas and Coushatta, afternoon coffee with friends, and her jewelry.
Margaret is survived by: her husband Glen Sr.; daughters, Donna Treptow and Susan Dolezal; sons, Howard Glen Dolezal Jr. & wife Theresa, and Harold Dolezal & wife Pam; nine grandchildren, Eric Pringle(Johanna), Jake Pringle (Vicki), Robin Treptow Farmer (Mark), Nathan Treptow, Aaron Treptow, Tyler Pringle (Ashley), Kasey Dolezal, Parker Dolezal, and Chase Dolezal (Paige); twelve great-grandchildren, Austin Treptow, Rachel Pringle, Ellie Pringle, Gabe Pringle, Oliver Pringle, Michael Pringle, Harper Dolezal, Everett Farmer, Vivian Farmer, Everly Dolezal, Luke Pringle and Tatum Dolezal; and her sister Helen Belcik.
Margaret is preceded in death by; her parents Frank and Pauline Smolik, sister Irene Bush, and brother Frankie Smolik.

Memorial Funeral Mass Service : 2 pm, Monday, July 22, 2019, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Hallettsville; Visitation starting at 1 pm; with the Rosary starting at 1:30 pm. Honorary Pallbearers: Eric, Jake, and Tyler Pringle; Nathan and Aaron Treptow, Parker Dolezal and Chase Dolezal. Officiant: Msgr. John Peters. Memorials: Sacred Heart Catholic School, or Donor's choice.
