Marcus "Mark" James Spanihel Jr., 55, of Hallettsville, passed away May 24, 2016. He was born on October 24, 1960 to Marcus & Joyce Spanihel Sr. in Houston.

Mark is survived by: his mother Joyce; brother Timothy Spanihel & wife Cynthia of Hallettsville; 3 sisters, Deborah Hays & husband Jim of Houston, Susan Lockard of Hallettsville, and Theresa Henneke of Hallettsville; and many nieces and nephews.

Mark was preceded in death by his father.

Visitation: 10 am to 2 pm, Monday, May 30, 2016 at Kubena Funeral Home. Memorials: Donor's Choice. Reception: 3 pm, after visitation, at Lazy-J-Bar Vienna, 10186 FM 530 (361-798-3880). Private family service will be held at a later date.
