Mrs. Magdalen M. Grahmann Muras, 65, of Hallettsville, died August 2, 2007. She was born on August 7, 1941 to Alfons & Cecilia Huser Grahmann in Lavaca County, Texas. She married Cleo Muras on July 20, 1968 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Hallettsville. She was a member of K.J.Z.T., Christian Mothers, and the Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

Magdalen is survived by: husband Cleo; daughter Loretta Cordes & husband John of Victoria; 4 brothers, Emil Grahmann of Hallettsville, Bernard Grahmann & wife Mary of Hallettsville, Hilbert Grahmann & wife Judith of Cuero, and Clarence Grahmann & wife Evelyn of Edna; sister Marguerite Grahmann of Hallettsville; and grandson Marvin Cordes.

Magdalen was preceded in death by her parents.

Service: 10 am, Monday, August 6, 2007 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Visitation: 12 Noon, Sunday at Kubena Funeral Home. Rosaries: 7 pm, Sunday at Kubena Funeral Home; and 9:30 am, Monday at Sacred Heart Church. Pallbearers: Stephen Grahmann, Jason Krobot, Ed Martinez, Lawrence Kubicek, Daniel Kubicek, and Travis Grahmann. Burial: Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery. Officiat e: Rev. John Peters.
