Mrs. Mae Irene Fenner Otahal, 90, of Hallettsville, died June 25, 2007. She was born on December 11, 1916 to James E. & Florence Inglis Shepard in Riverside, Texas. She married Stephen Jerrry Otahal on April 9, 1983 in Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Hallettsville.

Mae is survived by a sister Dorothy Dennis of Denton, Texas, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mae was preceded in death by: 1st husband Buster Fenner; 2nd husband Stephen Otahal; parents; 2 brothers; and 2 sisters.

Service: 11:30 am, Thursday, June 28, 2007 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Visitation: 3 pm, Wednesday at Kubena Funeral Home. Rosaries: 7 pm, Wednesday at Kubena Funeral Home; and 11 am, Thursday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Pallbearers: Era Johnson, Rita Willhite, Dwayne Holik, Joseph Bludau IV, Daniel Kuhn, and Elroy Holik. Burial: Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery. Officiate: Rev. John Peters. Memorials: Donor's Choice.
