Lydia Einkauf Muhlstein, 95, of Hallettsville, passed away Aug. 26, 2015. She was born on Oct. 11, 1919 to Henry T. & Elizabeth Sicko Einkauf Sr. in Bellville, TX, and later grew up in the home of Rudolph and Annie Sicko Quitta in Vsetin. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Hallettsville.

Lydia married Albert Muhlstein on Dec. 30, 1943 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Hallettsville. She was a loving wife for 52 years and was blessed with three daughters, Shirley, Doris, and Jeanette. She enjoyed gardening, baking, quilting, and canning for her family. Some of her favorite pass times were playing dominoes, bingo, and cards with her friends. She loved visits from her grandchildren, great grandchildren and was very proud of being a great-great grandmother to Harper.

Lydia is survived by: 3 daughters, Shirley Mozisek of Hallettsville, Doris Kalisek of Hallettsville, and Jeanette Hinton & husband Curtis of Victoria; 4 grandchildren, Pam Dolezal & husband Harold, Darryl Mozisek (Joann), Nick Kalisek & wife Stephanie, and Kristi Hinton; 2 great grandchildren, Kasey Dolezal, and Chase Dolezal & wife Paige, and great great grandchild Harper Elizabeth Dolezal.

Lydia was preceded in death by: her husband Albert, parents, brother Henry T. Einkauf Jr., son-in-law Ervin Mozisek, as well as the extended family of Uncle Rudolph & Aunt Annie Sicko Quitta family.

Funeral Mass Service: 10 am, Saturday, Aug. 29, 2015, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Hallettsville. Visitation: 5 pm, Friday, at Kubena Funeral Home with Rosary starting at7 pm. Pallbearers: Curtis Hinton, Harold Dolezal, Darryl Mozisek, Nick Kalisek, and Chase Dolezal. Officiant: Rev. Barnabas Kyeah. Memorials: Charity of Your Choice. Burial: Shiloh Cemetery.
