Grateful for a long life lived, we announce the passing of Ludmilla “Lillie” Mizera Pavlica, who passed peacefully at the age of 102 on February 13, 2026. She was born on August 30, 1923, in Lavaca County, Texas, to Tom & Josephine Mizera.

Lillie lived in Gonzales, Texas, and worked at the cotton gin. She married Julius Pavlica and they settled in Houston where they started a family. She was a woman of faith and belonged to St. Jerome’s Catholic Church in Houston. Through joys and hardships, she enjoyed cooking and baking for her family, polka music, and will be remembered for her kindness and gentle soul, and especially her love of the Astros. We celebrate her 102 years of life and the memories she leaves behind.

Lillie was preceded by: her parents; husband Julius Sr.; her siblings, Georgie, Louis and Tommie, carrying their memories with her over the years and now reunited with them.

Lillie is survived by her children, Pat (Vince) of Bebe and Julius Jr. (Sheila) of Houston.

A service to honor her life will be held at 11 am, Friday, February 20, 2026, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Hallettsville; with Visitation at 9 am and Rosary at10:30 am. Burial at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery.
