Lucille Agnes Werner, 88, of Hallettsville, passed away June 20, 2017. She was born February 10, 1929 in Boling, Texas to Joe & Agnes Grafe Leopold. She married Gus "Cudlum" Werner on April 27, 1949 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Hallettsville, Texas. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

She had a gift of making everyone that met her feel special! From her skill of baking, to her knack of creating things with her hands, you knew she filled it with love! What a wonderful tribute to a mother, grandmother, sister and friend that each of us can say, "I was her favorite"!

Lucille is survived by 3 sons James Werner of Hallettsville, Gus Werner & wife Susan of Hallettsville, and Joey Werner & wife Tracy of Lakeway; 3 daughters Carol Ley of Hallettsville, Audrey Klimitchek & husband Travis of Hallettsville, and Mary Chapman & husband Andy of Hallettsville; 3 brothers Charles, Douglas and Dennis Leopold; 5 sisters Margaret Stewart, Jeanette Braukaus, Josephine Janak, Marylyn Kocian and Dolores Schroller; 17 grandchildren; 1 step grandchild; and 17 great grandchildren plus 2 on their way.

Lucille is preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter Diane Charrier; brother Frank Leopold; and grandson Joe Charrier.

Funeral Mass Service: 3 pm, Monday, June 26, 2017, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Hallettsville. Visitation: 4 pm, Sunday at Kubena Funeral Home in Chapel B. Officiant: Msgr. John Peters. Rosary: 2:15 Monday, June 26, 2017 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Pallbearers: Jeff Ahrens, Chans Chapman, Charlie Bludau, Jason Werner, Will Chapman, Tyler Werner, Carl Travis Klimitchek, and David Janese. Memorials: Donor's Choice. Burial: Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery.
