Lorene Lillian Vaculik, 77, of Moravia, passed away Sunday, October 4, 2009. She was born on September 12, 1932 in Moravia to Frank & Albina (Fojt) Trlica. She married Edwin Vaculik on October 25, 1952 in St. John, Texas. They moved to Houston, Texas and lived there for 30 years, in 1983, they returned to the Moravia Community. She was a member of the S.P.J.S.T. Lodge #23, V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary, Moravia Extension Club for 18 years, and active participant of Ascension of our Lord Catholic Church. Lorene loved baking, especially her cheese danish rolls, and making her famous rosettes. She loved sewing and canning vegetables from their garden. Her favorite past time was playing bingo, and spending time with her animals: Blackie, Baby, and Missy. She will be missed dearly.

Lorene is survived by: her husband Edwin of 57 years; several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews who loved her like a mother.

Lorene was preceded in death by: her parents Frank & Albina (Fojt) Trlica; her sister Viola Klesel; and 2 brothers, Julius and Weldon Trlica.

Funeral Service: 10 am, Wednesday, Oct. 7, 2009 at Ascension of our Lord Catholic Church in Moravia. Visitation: 2 pm, Tuesday, at Kubena Funeral Home. Rosary: 7 pm, Tuesday, at Kubena Funeral Home. Officiate: Rev. John Peters. Pallbearers: Patrick Klesel, Matthew Klesel, Dwayne Klesel, Robert Machicek, Craig Machicek, Brian Machicek, Ryan Schmidt, and Alfred Vaculik Jr. Honorary Pallbearers: Numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and special friends: David & Judy Klesel. Memorials: Donor's Choice. Burial: Moravia S.P.J.S.T. Cemetery.
