Mrs. Lorene Ann Muenster, 59, passed away Jan. 21, 2008. She was born Nov. 15, 1948. She was a beloved Mother, Grandmother, and sister. Lorene will be missed dearly by her children, Duane and wife Valerie, Kenny and wife Gayle, Charles and wife Jennifer; and grandchildren Jennifer and Jessica Willett, daughters of Duane and Valerie.

Lorene was preceded in death by her: husband Elroy C. Muenster; her parents Frank Hermis and Genevieve Monecke; brothers Eugene Hermis and Lawrence Hermis; sisters-in-laws, Evelyn Winkenwerder and Bessie Hermis; and brother-in-law Wilbert Muenster.

Lorene is also survived by her step-father Harry Monecke; sister Carolyn Henske and husband Larry; sisters-in-laws June Alexander, Earlene Muenster, and Delores Muenster; brothers-in-laws, Wilfred Muenster and wife Margie, Leroy Muenster and wife Jeannie, and Marion Winkenwerder.

The family of Lorene Ann Muenster would like to thank; Hospice of South Texas, Hallettsville Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, Dr. Brian M. Reasoner and his medical staff, The Methodist Hospital in Houston, and anyone else who was involved in the care of our mother.

Visitation will be held 4 pm, Thursday, Jan. 24 at Kubena Funeral Home in Hallettsville, with a 7pm Rosary that Thursday. A Funeral Chapel Service will be held at 2 pm, Friday, Jan. 25 at Kubena Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Donny Hermis, Bobby Hermis, Joey Hermis, Michael Davis, Alan Muenster, and Gary Winkenwerder.
