Lorene Morisak Fuller of Hallettsville, went to be with our Lord on Wednesday, November 5, 2008 at the age of 69, after a short battle with Leukemia. She was born on November 8, 1938 in Sweet Home, Texas to Frank & Lillie Slovacek Morisak. She married Alvin Fuller on August 7, 1960 at the Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Sweet Home, Texas. She was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Hallettsville, and attended services as her health allowed her, but always believed in praying her rosary daily. .

Lorene was a caregiver for many families and also worked at Goetz Services for 13 years. In her spare time she enjoyed her flowers, baking cakes and spend time with her grandchildren, Ashley, Karlie and Kylan .

Those Lorene met in Heaven were her loving father & mother, Frank and Lillie Morisak; a baby sister, Lillian Morisak, who died at birth; and a niece, Lori Beth Bennett.

Lorene leaves behind her husband, Alvin Fuller; a son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Donna Fuller; three daughters and son-in-law, Sandra & Joe Mozisek, Belinda & Tim Finch all of Hallettsville, and Cindie & Charlie Stehle of Yoakum; three grandchildren, Ashley Fuller of Austin, Kylan Finch of Hallettsville, and Karlie Stehle of Yoakum; two sisters and brother-in-law, Bernice & Edward Bennett of Yoakum, and Joyce & Anton Orsak of Moravia; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Service: 10 am, Saturday, Nov. 8, 2008, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Hallettsville. Visitation: 1 pm, Friday at Kubena Funeral Home. Rosary: 7 pm, Friday at Kubena Funeral Home. Officiate: Rev. John Peters. Pallbearers: Michael Brinkmeyer, Anthony Orsak, Israel Fuller Jr., David Orsak, Mark Bennett, and Tim Finch. Honorary Pallbearers: Ashley Fuller, Karlie Stehle, and Kylan Finch. Burial: Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery. Memorials: Sacred Heart Church.
