Mrs. Lois Driver Kubena, 82, of Houston, moved home to Heaven on October 19, 2007. Lois was born on Feb. 9, 1925 in Arp, Texas to James H. and Molly Chappell Driver, their third child and oldest daughter. On August 7, 1959, Lois and Travis Kubena were joined in holy wedlock in Houston, Texas, where they continued to make their home. She was a devout christen homemaker whose greatest joys were her family and her relationship with her Lord.

Lois is survived by her husband Travis; son Rodney Kubena; sisters, Helen Douglas of Richmond, Virginia, Eloise Delworth of Rainbow City, Alabama, Albie B. Dart of Tyler, Texas; brother Horace Driver of Big Sandy, Texas; sister-in-laws, Carol Davis of Victoria, and Mary Ann Defibaugh of Hallettsville.

Their son Bryan Keith Kubena preceded Lois on Sept. 3, 2002; her parents; sister Dorothy Finch; brothers, Virgil, Walter, James, and Hiram Driver.

Family visitation in Houston will be Tuesday, 5pm - 8pm, October 23, 2007 at the San Jacinto Funeral Home, 14659 East Freeway, Houston,; with a memorial service to be held at 7 pm, Wednesday, October 24 at the Funeral Home Chapel.

At 11:00 am, Thursday, October 25, her funeral service will begin at the Kubena Funeral Home in Hallettsville, with the burial in the Hallettsville City Cemetery to follow. Visitation will start at 8 am that Thursday, at Kubena Funeral Home.
