Linda Cecil Smith, 70, of Victoria, passed away Wednesday, July 1, 2015. She was born on December 12, 1944 in Cleveland, TX, to the late O. D. & Ethel Smith. She married Wesley "Pee Wee" Smith on May 30, 1986 in Vienna, TX.

Linda is survived by her loving family: 2 daughters, Sheila Hobbs (Wylie) of Victoria and Ethel Fisher (Willy Barefield) of Victoria; son Corbit Fisher Jr. (Angie) of McDade; sister Vera Luster (Glenn) of Dallas; 6 grandchildren, Desiree (Charles Wilson) Benitez of Hallettsville, Tony (Alyssa) Benitez Jr. of Victoria, Lae'cie (Hector Loya) Hobbs of Victoria, Wylie (Shanna Whitfield) Hobbs Jr. of Victoria, Alexis Fisher of McDade, and Corbit Fisher III of McDade; 9 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces & nephews.

Linda was preceded death by: her husband Wesley; parents; sister Mary Lou Hamblin; brother Jack Smith; and great granddaughter Chazmin Wilson.

Funeral Service: 12 noon, Monday, July 6, 2015, at Kubena Funeral Home in Hallettsville. Visitation: 10 a.m., Monday, at Kubena Funeral Home. Officiant: Rev. Fred Hobbs. Pallbearers: Tony Benitez Jr., Wylie Hobbs Jr., Jason Beckner, John Beckner Jr., Dion Smith, and Daniel Smith. Honorary pallbearers: Wendell Chaney and Corbit Fisher III. Memorials: Donor's Choice. Burial: Willow Creek Cemetery.
