Mrs. Lillian L. Tesch, 87, of Hallettsville, died Jan. 22, 2008. She was born on Feb. 28, 1920 to Willie F. & Agnes Koehne Woytek in Hallettsville. She married Woodrow H. Tesch on Nov. 23, 1937 in Hallettsville. She was a member of The American Legion Auxiliary and Zion Lutheran Church in Schulenburg.

Lillian was a homemaker and later in life worked for Playtime Nursery for several years. Lillian loved taking care of children and most of all her grandsons and great grandson. They brought her great joy! She will be dearly missed.

Lillian is survived by her loving family; daughter Alice Catalena & husband Billy of Houston; sons Jerry & wife Gail, and Gene all of Hallettsville; grandsons Mark Catalena & wife Heather of Los Angeles, CA, and Jeremy Tesch of Hallettsville; and great grandson Lucas Catalena of Los Angeles, CA.

Lillian was preceded in death by; husband Woodrow on Aug. 19, 1985, parents Willie F. & Agnes Koehne Woytek, brother Hilmer W. Woytek, and sister Evelyn Myrtle Tesch.

The family would like to express their thanks to Dr. Kocurek, Dr. Reasoner, the employees of Hallettsville Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, Lavaca Medical Center, and Victoria Warm Springs for the special care she received.

Service: 10 am, Friday, Jan. 25, 2008 at Zion Lutheran Church in Schulenburg. Visitation: 12 noon, Thursday, at Kubena Funeral Home. Prayer Service: 6:30 pm, Thursday, at Kubena Funeral Home. Officiate: Rev. Lee R. Kunkel. Pallbearers: Jeremy Tesch, Billy Catalena, Tramer Woytek, Charles Michalec, Tommy Mertz, and Bobby Bentley. Burial: Hallettsville City Cemetery.
