Letha Ruth Fehr, 81, of Hallettsville, passed away March 22, 2010. She was born on March 28, 1928 to Theo & Nettie Jacobs Fitch in Edna. She was a member of Beta Sigma Phi and First Baptist Church of Hallettsville. She liked to dance when she had the use of her legs, listening to music, talking with everyone, and watching T.V. (mainly NASCAR).

Letha is survived by: 4 daughters, Caroline Brown & husband Alton of Hallettsville, Ola Lee Roark of Corpus Christi, Barbara Webb of San Antonio, and Debbie Simper & husband George of Shiner; 2 sons, Charles Webb & wife Carol of Alvin, and Henry Webb & wife Alisha of Houston; 7 sisters, Velma Mosley of Corpus Christi, Sybil Srp of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Mildred Dolezal of Hallettsville, Sandra Adamek of Victoria, Doris DeBruhl of Edna, Patricia Koop of Edna, and Becky Gillispie of Houston; 12 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; and 1 great great grandchild.

Letha was preceded in death by: her parents; 2 daughters, Linda Sue Webb and Nettie Ruth Fehr; granddaughter Karen Sue Emory; and great grandson James Alton Myrick.

Funeral Service: 11 am, Wednesday, March 24, 2010 at Kubena Funeral Home. Visitation: 4 pm, Tuesday, at Kubena Funeral Home. Officiate: Rev. Terry Horton. Pallbearers: Kenneth Emory, Trevor Simper, Chris Webb, Alton Brown Sr., Alton Brown Jr., and Alton Brown III. Honorary Pallbearers: grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchild. Burial: Salem Cemetery.
