Mr. LeRoy Stoneking, 85, of Hallettsville, died October 5, 2006. He was born on January 13, 1921 to EJ & Goldie Davis Stoneking in Terre Haute, Indiana. He married Gisela Nieciorawski Stoneking on June 22, 1955. He was a veteran of WWII, member of the Masonic Lodge, and member of the American Legion.

LeRoy is survived by: wife Gisela of 51 years of marriage; 3 sons Terry Stoneking of Dallas, Kim Stoneking of Houston, and Gordon Stoneking of Daytona Beach, Florida; sister Josey Latham of Indiana; 5 grandchildren; and 1 great-grandchild.

LeRoy was preceded in death by: parents EJ & Goldie Davis Stoneking, and brother Charlie Stoneking.

Memorial Service: 2 pm, Saturday, October 7, 2006 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Hallettsville. Officiate: Rev. John Peters. Rosary: 2 pm, Saturday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, which afterward the mass will being.
