Leo N. Christ, 83, of Hallettsville, passed away May 29, 2015. He was born on Aug. 1, 1931 to Henry & Emilia Schramm Christ Jr. in Lavaca County, TX. He married Mildred Klekar on Oct. 1, 1955 at St. Mary's Catholic Church of Hallettsville. He was a veteran of the Korean War, member of the VFW and American Legion, and Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Hallettsville.

Leo is survived by: his wife Mildred; daughter Charlene Gray & husband Roger of Gonzales; 2 sisters, Adela Patlovany of Hallettsville, and Evelyn Mendel of Houston; and granddaughter Taylor Gray.

Leo was preceded in death by: his parents; and 3 brothers, Bennie H., Clarence and Lawrence Christ Sr.

Funeral Mass Service: 11 am, Thursday, June 4, 2015, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Hallettsville. Visitation: 5 pm, Wednesday, at Kubena Funeral Home Rosary: starting at7 pm, at Kubena Funeral Home. Officiant: Msgr. John Peters. Pallbearers: Ed Mendel, Mike Christ, Leroy Christ, Ed Patlovany, Larry Christ, and James Patlovany. Memorials: Donor's Choice. Burial: Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery.
