Lelia is survived by: 5-sons, Bert Hermes of Lake Jackson, Michael (Jane) Hermes of Duetschberg, Richard (Jayme) Hermes of Point Comfort, Keith (Jana) Hermes of Sugar Land, and Kevin (Mischelle) Hermes of Port Lavaca; daughter, Cynthia Mozisek (Victor) of Sealy; sister Lillie Mae Janak of Sweet Home; 17-grandchildren, Melissa (Pete) Almquist, Brian (Erin) Mozisek, Jillian (Ross) Manning, Tricia (Jonathna) Stinson, Richie Hermes, Reed Hermes, Tanner Hermes, Scott (Liz) Mozisek, Bradley Mozisek, Tallen Hermes, Heath (Crystal) Hermes, Wes (Patty) Hermes, Blake Hermes, Regan Hermes, Garrett Hermes, Stefanie Hermes, and Joseph Tschatschula; and 9-great-grandchildren, Lily Rose, Anna Marie, Katie Faye and Luke Phillip Mozisek; Elise Faye Almquist, Todd Logan Hermes; Ava Claire and Isla Grace Manning, and Makenzie Colleen Hermes.
Lelia was preceded in death by: her husband Hubert; parents; 3-brothers, Ernest, Ervin, and Julius Hermes; and 2 sisters, Magadeline Vahalik Ebner and Missy Linstaeder.
Service: 10 am, Wednesday, July 21, 2010 at Queen of Peace Catholic Church. Visitation: 4 pm, Tuesday at Kubena Funeral Home. Wake Service: 7 pm, Tuesday at Kubena Funeral Home. Officiate: Rev. Charles Sonnier. Burial: Koerth Catholic Cemetery, Koerth, Texas. Pallbearers: Victor Mozisek, Bert Hermes, Michael Hermes, Richard Hermes, Keith Hermes, and Kevin Hermes. Memorials (In Lieu of Flowers): donations to Queen of Peace Catholic Church or Sweet Home American Legion Ladies Auxiliary Scholarship Fund.
