Obituary

Larry B. Synatzske, 82, of Hallettsville, passed away Jan. 6, 2013. He was born on July 13, 1930 to Benhard & Sidonia Moerbe Synatzske in Taylor, Texas. He married Norma Jean Black on May 26, 1950 in Seguin, Texas. He served in the US Army during the Korean War. He retired after 35 years with the Southwestern Bell Company in the San Antonio and Houston areas.

Larry is survived by: 2 daughters, Kathy Klovenski & husband Clifford of Magnolia, TX, and Lori Simmons of Hallettsville; sister-in-law Nell Smith; nephew Steven Smith; and 3 grandchildren, Amanda Klovenski, Chad & Jeff Simmons;

Larry was preceded in death by his wife Norma Jean, and his parents.

Funeral Service: 10 am, Thursday, Jan. 10, 2013, at Kubena Funeral Home. Visitation: 9 am Thursday at Kubena Funeral Home in Hallettsville. Honorary Pallbearers: Steven Smith, Amanda Klovenski, Chad Simmons, and Jeff Simmons. Officiate: Rev. Jerome Teichmiller. Memorials: Zion Lutheran Church in Tomball, Special Operation Warriors Foundation or Charity of Your Choice. Burial: 3 pm, Thursday, at Mission Park South Cemetery in San Antonio.
