Larry was a loving brother, uncle and friend. He was a chef and enjoyed weekend cooking with family and friends. He was an avid fan of the Houston Astros, Houston Texans, and Houston Dynamos. He even traveled to other states to watch his beloved Astros. He loved hunting and playing with his nieces and nephews, and hanging out with the guys.

Larry is survived by: step-father Curtis Pittman of Sheridan; 2 brothers, Travis Moss of Rock Island, and William Ross of Sheridan; 5 sisters, Melissa Leopold & husband Doug of Hallettsville, Jo Ann Mayes of Rock Island, Dianna Vernon & husband Virgil of Rock Island, Marsha Rollins & husband Derrick of Sheridan, and Amanda Ross of Sheridan; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents.

Memorial Funeral Service: 2 pm, Sunday, Oct. 27, 2013 at Kubena Funeral Home of Hallettsville. Visitation: 12 noon, Sunday, at Kubena Funeral Home. Officiate: Eugene Kazmir. Pallbearers: Travis Moss, William Ross, Joey Leopold, Ben Leopold, Kyle Rollins, Trent Rollins, and Layne Dierschke. Honorary Pallbearers: Shane Drozd, James Oblegoner, Jason Oblegoner, Clifton Kazmir, Taylor Albrecht, Paul Swearengin, Derrick Rollins, Doug Leopold, Michael Blaschke, Virgil Vernon, and Mark Ross. Reception: Sheridan Community Center in Sheridan.
