Julius Anton Kalmus, 93, of Hallettsville, passed away June 7, 2019. He was born on May 20, 1926 to Theo J. & Carrie Mozisek Kalmus in Lavaca County, TX. He was a veteran of the Korean War; and member of the V.F.W. and Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Hallettsville.

Julius is survived by his sister Caroline Grahmann and brother Joe Kalmus.

Julius was preceded in death by: his parents; 2 brothers, Victor and Louis Kalmus; and 2 sisters, Lillie Kolacny and Lorene Barton.

Funeral Mass Service : 2 pm, Tuesday, June 11, 2019, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Hallettsville. Visitation: 12 pm Noon, Tuesday at Sacred Heart Church; with the Rosary starting at 1:30 pm. Officiant: Msgr. John Peters. Memorials: Sacred Heart Catholic Church or Donor's choice. Burial: Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery.
