Obituary

Mrs. Julia A. Olsovsky, 93, of Moravia, died Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2007. She was born Nov. 24, 1913 in Moravia to Louis and Agnes Jalufka. On June 7, 1932, she married Henry R. Olsovsky in Moravia. She was a member of the Moravia KJZT, the Moravia Altar Society, and she worked at the Bel-Air Restaurant for 26 years.

Julia's survivors included three daughters, Shirley Lintner and husband Bill of Katy, Sandra Shipman and husband Harvey of Brownsboro, and Kay Fowlkes and husband Johnny of Schulenburg; 10 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and 8 great-great-grandchildren.

Julia was preceded in death by her husband Henry of 69 ½ years in 2001; daughter Rebecca Jane Patterson in 1964; grandson Ray Shipman in 2002; brothers Alphonse and Victor Jalufka; and 3 sisters, Eda and Olga Jalufka, and Justine Berger.

Service: 10 am, Friday, Sept. 28, 2007 at Ascension of our Lord Catholic Church. Visitation: 12 noon, Thursday at Kubena Funeral Home. Rosaries: 7 pm Thursday at Kubena Funeral Home, and 9:30 am at Ascension of our Lord Catholic Church. Officiate: Rev. George Olsovsky and Rev. John Peters. Burial: Moravia Catholic Cemetery. Memorials: Donor's Choice. Pallbearers : John Pucciarello; Robert Pohl; William Neiser; James Janak; Lynn Jalufka; Mark Jalufka. Honorary Pallbearers : All Grandchildren, Great-Grandchildren, and Great-Great-Grandchildren.
