Julia Marie Orsak Timm, age 95, of Hallettsville, passed away January 27, 2026. She was born on September 13, 1930, to the late Frank & Rosie Orsak in Lavaca County, Texas. She married Henry Garner “Bunny” Timm on March 4th, 1951. She attended Mont school through eighth grade and graduated from Hallettsville High School in 1949. After high school she enrolled in Renger Hospital School of Nursing and obtained her LVN. Following her time at the hospital she worked for Hallettsville ISD as secretary until her retirement. After retirement she enjoyed volunteering at Stevens Rehab and as a pink lady at Lavaca Medical Center.
Julia was proud of her children for all their achievements. She also enjoyed cooking and baking cookies for them. Spending time with grandchildren and great children brought her joy.
Julia is survived by: her 4 children, daughter Sherry & husband John Henke of Hallettsville and their children Melissa Brunton, John G. “Scooter” Henke and Brandi Pohl; daughter Landra & husband Don Immenhauser of Yoakum and their children Carrie Renken, Chris Immenhauser and Francie Immenhauser; son Keevan & wife Vanessa Timm of Bellville and their son Kyle Timm and son David & wife Susan of Luling and their sons Austin Timm and Hunter Timm. Her great grandchildren include Hayden Brunton, Molly Brunton, Savannah Brady, Landen Henke, Paxton Henke, Garner Henke, Adalyn Pohl, Emi Pohl, Reagan Miksch, Rachel Renken, Jocelyn Presas, Kennedy Timm, Dylan Timm and Lainey Timm. She is also survived by one great great grandson Lorenzo Vasquez. She is also survived by nieces and nephews: Ernie Ehlinger, Fraybert Orsak, Suzan Pawlik.
Julia was preceded in death by: her parents; her husband Bunny Timm; grandson Daniel Immenhauser; siblings, Lillie Evans, Pat Ehlinger, Ann Sokel, Victor Orsak, Ernest Orsak; Nephews Tommie Ehlinger and Martin Wayne Orsak.
Mom and Dad shared 60 years of marriage and now they are together again for eternity.

Funeral Service: 11 am, Monday, February 2, 2026, at Hallettsville Methodist Church with Visitation starting at 10 am. Officiant: Pastor Patrick Melton. Memorials (in lieu of flowers): Hallettsville Methodist Church or donor’s choice. Burial: Hallettsville City Cemetery.
