Judith "Judy" Ann Owens, 61, of Hallettsville, passed away March 8, 2012. She was born on Feb. 27, 1951 to Hershel & Eileen Patterson Neideffer in Iowa City, Iowa. She married Kenneth David Owens on March 9, 1980 in Troy, Texas. She worked as Dietary Supervisor at Lavaca Medical Center in Hallettsville for 8 years.

Judy is survived by: husband Kenneth; son David James Tassin; 2 brothers, Gary and Jim Neideffer; 4 sisters, Jackie Ayers, Joyce Neideffer, Janet Rembert, and Patty Starkey; and 2 grandchildren.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents.

A private family burial will be held at a later date.
