Josephine Elain Muniz, 64, of Hallettsville, passed away October 13, 2020.  She was born on February 24, 1956 to Jose G & Anna Sainz Luna Sr., in Sealy, TX.  She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Hallettsville.

Josephine is survived by:  her husband Jose; son Michael Ray Muniz; 2 daughters Christine Lyn Muniz and Angela Ann Muniz; brother Patrick Luna; 3 sisters, Mary Gaitan, Marie Flores and Nancy Rosales; and 5 grandchildren, Levi Konecny, Chrisley Muniz, Gavyn Muniz, Robert Muniz and Gianna Muniz-Foley.

Josephine was preceded in death by; her parents, son & 2 daughters, and brother Jose Luna Jr.

Funeral Mass Service (All attendees must wear masks): 11:30 am, Friday, October 16, 2020, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Hallettsville; with Rosary starting at 11 am; and Visitation starting at 10 am. Pallbearers: Adrian Gaitan, Ricardo Rodriguez, Marcus Gaitan, Vincent Gaitan, Scott Chandler, Robert Muniz, Jade Partida, and Kyle Wright. Honorary Pallbearers: her grandchildren. Officiant: Msgr. John Peters. Memorials: Sacred Heart Catholic Church or Donor's Choice. Burial: Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery.
