Josephine Elizabeth McCain, 81, of Hallettsville, died March 10, 2009. She was born on August 9, 1927 to H. A. & Marie Fitzgerald Clark in Bradford, Pennsylvania. She married Perry McCain on May 16, 1979 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Richmond, Texas. She was a resident of Stevens Nursing & Rehabilitation Center of Hallettsville, and active in the Resident Council.

Josephine was preceded in death by: her husband Perry; parents; and 3 sisters, Caroline, Bertha Marie (Sister Mary Christopher), and Phyllis

Memorial Mass Service: 10 am, Thursday, April 2, 2009 at Stevens Nursing Center. Officiate: Rev. John Peters. Private Burial: Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
