Josephine Matejek, 68, of Hallettsville, passed away July 23, 2010. She was born on March 22, 1942 to Joseph & Agnes Kalcak Matejek in Lavaca County, Texas. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Hallettsville.

Josephine is survived by: daughter Josephine Grahmann & husband Dominic of Hallettsville; brother Johnnie Joe Matejek of Yoakum; and 2 grandchildren, Dawn & Ross Grahmann.

Josephine was preceded in death by: her parents; 2 grandsons, Christopher & Ryan Grahmann; brother Edward John Matejek; and 3 sisters, Dorothy Bradley, Willie Mae Hemple, and Agnes Martines.

Funeral Mass Service: 11 am, Monday, July 26, 2010 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Visitation: 3 pm, Sunday at Kubena Funeral Home. Rosaries: 6 pm, Sunday at Kubena Funeral Home; and 10:30 am, Monday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Pallbearers: Mike DelaRosa, Ronnie DelaRosa, Mike Grahmann, William Noska, Jimmy Steffek, Edwin Gallia, and Gene Rees. Honorary Pallbearers: Dawn Grahmann and Ross Grahmann. Officiate: Rev. Tommy Chen. Burial: Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery.
