John "Johnny" Louis Michna, 79, of Houston, passed away Feb. 4, 2020. He was born on Oct. 23, 1940, to John J. & Mary Krenek Michan in Bay City, TX.

Johnny received his degree from Texas A&M University in College Station, where he was a member of the Corps of Cadets. He worked at Gulf Oil for over 17 years as an Accountant.

Johnny was a sports enthusiast and loved to discuss current events with family and friends. He was politically active in the community as a Republican Precinct Chair for many years.

Johnny is survived by; his sister Mary Ann Douglas & husband Tom, nephew John Douglas, niece Dory Douglas, and several cousins.

Johnny was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral Mass Service: 10:30 am, Saturday, February 8, 2020, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Hallettsville; with Visitation starting at 9 am, at church; with Rosary starting at 10 pm. Officiant: Msgr. John Peters. Memorials: Donor's Choice. Burial: Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery.
