Obituary

Jimmy E. Gutierrez Jr., 82, of Hallettsville, passed away July 29, 2019. He was born on Oct. 21, 1936 to Jim & Josephine Rivera Gutierrez Sr. in Hallettsville. He married Sarah Ramirez on Oct. 7, 1959 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Hallettsville.

Jimmy was the man with many titles; husband, father, brother, friend grandpa and papo. He was always a strong foundation for his family & friends, if you were his friend, you were his family. He is and always will be the greatest man you will ever have been blessed to have known.

Dad was set in his ways, but always there to help you through and pray for you. We will miss him, especially the family gatherings, because he always had something to say. We learned a lot from our dad, he is a deeply loved and cherished man who none of us will be the same without.

There are always unanswered questions and things we wished we could have done or said, but he knew how much his family& friends loved him, and we will miss him every minute of every day. We are his family, be proud, be strong!
