Jerry Louis Brocker, 89, of Sheridan, passed away February 13, 2023.  He was born on September   5, 1933, to Joe Lee & Rosalie Mladenka Brocker Sr., in Hallettsville.  He Married Maye Beth Potter on August 23, 1969, in Columbus.  He was a member of First Baptist Church of Sheridan.  He & his wife also served as volunteers with the Texas Baptist Men Church Builders before illness.  He was honorable discharge from the US Army (1952 – 1954).

Jerry is survived by; wife Maye Beth, son Buddy & wife Kim of Sheridan, daughter Glenna Sides of Eagle Lake, sister Evelyn Holt of Sheridan, brother-in-law Arthur Potter & wife Angela of Corpus Christi, sister-in-law Carmen Jackson of Sheridan, 4 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild, and special nieces & nephews.

Jerry was preceded in death by; parents, brother Joe Lee Brocker Jr., and daughter Sondra Brocker.

Funeral Service: 10 am, Monday, February 20, 2023, at Kubena Funeral Home; with Visitation starting at 9 am. Pallbearers: Arthur Potter, Ismael Meza, Chad Potter, Chris Brocker, Chris Jackson and Charles Tompkins. Officiant: Rev. Joshua Turpin. Memorials: Texas Baptist Men (5351 Catron Drive, Dallas, TX 75227) or donor's choice. Burial: Geiger Cemetery, Sublime, TX.
