Jeanette E. Castecka, 64, of Sugar Land, TX, passed away July 13 ^th , 2014. She was born on October 23 ^rd , 1949 to Henry and Helen Mueller in Shiner. She married Franklin Joe Castecka on June 30 ^th , 1968 in Yoakum. She was a member of St. Theresa's Church of Sugar Land.

Jeanette worked for the Fort Bend Independent School District for over 30 years. Her last position was counselor's secretary at Travis High School. She loved spending time with and taking care of her children and grandchildren. She also loved taking care of her plants and flowers.

Jeanette is survived by: husband Franklin Castecka; children, Michael Castecka and Jason Castecka; grandchildren, Troy Castecka, Stephanie Castecka, and Alan Castecka; great grandchild, Kara Sue Castecka, and sisters, Rose Dvorak and Linda Parker.

Jeanette was preceded in death by her son, Steven Castecka, and by her parents.

The funeral service will be held Monday, July 21 ^st at 10:00 am at St. Mary's Catholic Church of Hallettsville. Following the service, the urn will be buried in St. Mary's Cemetery. The service will be conducted by Monsignor John Peters.
