James is survived by: 4 sisters, Margaret Rehak & husband George of Rosenberg, Charlean Bay & husband Gary of Victoria, Annie Orsak of Houston, and Katherine Orsak of Houston; sister-in-law Evelyn Orsak of Rosenberg; and nieces and nephews, Jeannette Rehak, George W. Orsak, Jerry W. Orsak & wife Cindy, Donna Kucera & husband Jeff, Allan Bay & wife Francine, Sharon Labus & husband Joe, Darrell Bay & wife Courtney, and Michael Bay.
James was preceded in death by: parents; 3 brothers, Johnny at infancy, Adolph and Anton Orsak; and infant niece Virgina Sue Rehak.
James's family would like recognize all those who have helped in James' care besides the family through the years, namely Lavaca Co. Activity Center, Gulf Bend MHMR in Victoria, Pat Wyrick for being a foster parent; and in Missouri City, Tx. area the Zimac Care Center for providing a group home and attending to his needs especially in his latter years of life, Caring Hands Adult Day Center; and all the caring doctors & nurses at Ft. Bend Community Hospital, Southwest Memorial Hermann Hospital, Triumph Hospital Southwest, and Westwood Rehabilitation.
Service: 10 am, Tuesday, July 17, 2007 at Ascension of Our Lord Catholic Church in Moravia. Visitation: Noon, Monday at Kubena Funeral Home. Rosary: 7pm, Monday at Kubena Funeral Home. Burial: Moravia Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers: Allan Bay, Darrell Bay, Michael Bay, Joe Labus, Jerry Orsak, and Danny Schellberg. Honorary Pallbearers: Donna Kucera and Gary Bay. Officiate: Rev. Michael Rother. Memorials: Ascension of Our Lord Catholic Church or Zimac Care Center.
