Jack Carlton Heath Sr., 88, of Hemphill, passed away August 19, 2016. He was born on April 28, 1928 to John E. & Viola McElroy Heath in Houston. He married Margaret Clark on April 21, 1950.

Jack loved to fish, golf and play the guitar. He served in the US Navy at the end of World War II.

Jack is survived by; Margaret, daughter Lynn Bryan , son Jack Heath Jr. & wife Pam; 5 grandchildren, Aaron Heath, Amber Hawthorne, Tricia Russell, Sean Heath and Blake Heath; 1 step grandson, and 16 great grandchildren.

Jack was preceded in death by; his parents, brother, 6 sisters, and a great grandson.

Funeral Service: 11 am, Saturday, Aug. 27, 2016, at Kubena Funeral Home with Visitation at 10 am. Pallbearers: Gabe Hawthorne, Aaron Heath, Sean Heath, Blake Heath, Jason Russell, Koley Karl, and Kenny Neatherlin. Officiant: Rev. Robert Krause. Memorials: Donor's Choice. Burial: Speaks Cemetery.
