Isidor Louis Jalufka, 89, of Hallettsville, passed away May 20, 2022.  He was born on November 30, 1932, to Isidor J. & Kristina Bujnoch Jalufka, in Lavaca County, TX.  He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Hallettsville.

Isidor enjoyed smoking his pipe and drinking his Budweiser beer, playing the cake walk and listening to polka music, especially the Red Ravens at church picnics.  As a bachelor, he never had much, but he did have a big heart and friends that loved him.

The family would like to thank the doctors, nursing staff and care givers at Yoakum Nursing & Rehab for their excellent care.

Isidor is survived by, sister Leona Welfel and numerous nieces & nephews.

Isidor was preceded in death by:  his parents; brothers, August, Frank, Fred and Jim; and sisters, Agnes, Monica, Christina, Annie, Jane and Frances.

Funeral Mass Service: 11:30 am, Thursday, May 26, 2022, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Hallettsville, TX; Visitation starting at 10 am, with Rosary starting at 11am. Pallbearers :  Larry Welfel, Adolph Welfel, Thomas Welfel, Kenneth Kristynik, Mark Jalufka and Marvin O'Neill. Officiant: Msgr. John Peters. Burial: Andrew's Chapel Cemetery. Memorials: Sacred Heart Catholic Church or Donor's Choice.
