Ida May was a loving and devoted Christian mother and grandmother. She loved going to her bible study group on Wednesday and kept her mind active working crossword puzzles, checking her e-mail, playing solitary on the computer, crocheting many beautiful afghans and doilies for friends and relatives. She loved beautiful flowers, watching the birds and squirrels at her feeder, seeing the cattle graze in the pasture, but most of all she loved her family. She will be remembered for the care, compassion and unselfish love she showed to others and for her strong will and determination despite her failing health.
Ida May graduated from Sabinal High School, then went on to San Marcos College where she received her Teacher Certification. She taught at Gandy Bend, Klimitchek School and Lights Chapel
