Henry Till "Heine" Muenster, 88, of Hallettsville, went to be with the Lord on Christmas Eve, December 24, 2019. He was born in Hallettsville, Texas on December 4, 1931, the son of Henry Joseph and Ida Muenster. On September 8, 1956 he married Elrose Leopold.

Henry joined his father's Pearl Beer Distributor business after serving in the Air Force. He was a member of the American Legion, the Knights of Columbus, SPJST, Appelt's Hill Gun Club, Hermann Sons, and the Hallettsville Volunteer Fire Department.

Henry loved going out to the deer lease with his buddies, spending time at the farm checking his cattle and going to the coast to fish and the annual family beach trip. He also enjoyed attending all sports events of his children and grandchildren with his wife Elrose, and following the Hallettsville Brahmas.

Henry is survived by: his wife of 63 years, Elrose Muenster; five children, Kathleen (Donald) Bowman of Magnolia, TX, Christine Muenster of Austin, Mary Muenster of San Antonio, Todd (Hilda) Muenster of Corpus Christi, and Darren (Pam) Muenster of Hallettsville; 8 grandchildren, Robbie, Logan, Gabriella, Mark, Luke, John, Ava and Matthew Muenster; and 5 step-grandchildren, Meredith, Elizabeth, Olivia, Reed and Derek Bowman.

He is predeceased by; his parents, sister Emily Eason, and half-sister Pauline "Nutsie" Gosling.

Funeral Mass Service: 2:30 pm, Sunday Dec. 29, 2019, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Hallettsville. Visitation: 5 pm, Saturday at Kubena Funeral Home; with rosary starting at 7 pm. Pallbearers: Robert Eason, Richard Eason, Nathan Eason, Mark Jahn, Rodney Jahn and Rick Hajda. Honorary Pallbearers: Hubard Wyatt, Frank Migl, Tommy Sitka, Gilbert Schindler, Joe Migl, Glen Pagel, Paulie Janak, Harvey Janak, and Jerry Kallus. Officiant: Msgr. John Peters. Memorials: Hospice of South Texas Dornburg Center of Victoria, Sacred Heart Catholic Church or donor's choice. Burial: Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery.
