Clarence Harold Clinefelter Jr. (Harry), 78, passed away peacefully at home in Moravia, Texas, surrounded by family and loved ones on April 7, 2026. He was born on February 2, 1948, in Cleburne, Texas, to Harold Clinefelter & Yvonne Moffett Clinefelter.
Harry later moved with his family to Beaumont, Texas, where he attended Ogdan Elementary, Crockett Junior High and graduated from Beaumont High School in 1966. He was active in football, Boy Scouts and later became an Eagle Scout. After graduating high school, he attended Lamar University.
Harry served in the Navy during the Vietnam Conflict. When he returned, he completed his studies at Lamar University with a Bachelors in Business. After graduating he moved to Houston with a career in electrical sales including his own business.
On July 19, 1980 Harry married Sabra Monk and began their life together. For 45 years, they built a foundation made up of love, commitment and faith. God blessed them with a baby girl in 1989 and they lived in Sugar Land, Texas for 20 years.
Harry was a lifetime member of HLSR and various electrical sales organizations. His greatest enjoyment, besides spending time with his family, was being at their ranch in Moravia. He loved riding around on his John Deere tractor tending to the cows.
Harry was preceded in death by his parents, Harold & Yvonne Clinefelter.
Harry is survived by: his wife Sabra Clinefelter of Moravia; his daughter Caitlyn Hogue & husband Michael Hogue of Moravia; his grandchildren, Benny and Natalie Hogue of Moravia; sister Jeanne Becker & husband Gary Becker of Waco; and many nieces & nephews.
Funeral Service: 10 am, Saturday, April 11, 2026, at First Baptist Church of Hallettsville; with Visitation starting at 8:30 am. Officiant: Pastor Nick Ferguson. Memorials: First Baptist Church of Hallettsville or Donor’s Choice. Burial: SPJST Moravia Cemetery.
