Mrs. Gilbert "Bobbie Jo" Drozd, 83, of Hallettsville, passed away May 8, 2013. She was born on Aug. 21, 1929 to Robert L. & Eula Smith Daniels in Fentress, TX. She married Gilbert G. Drozd on June 6, 1949. She was a member of the Catholic Daughters of Americas, Texas Retired Teachers Association, and Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Hallettsville.

Mrs. Drozd is survived by: 2 sons, Glenn Drozd & wife Carol of Hallettsville, and Robert Drozd & wife Kim of Cuero; daughter Glynnda Fowler & husband Alan of Wallace; and 5 grandchildren, Lauren Blinn & husband Justin, Garrett Drozd; Ross, Ried and Matthew Fowler.

Mrs. Drozd was preceded in death by her husband and parents.

Funeral Mass Service: 10 am, Friday, May 10, 2013 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Hallettsville. Visitation: 4 pm, Thursday, at Kubena Funeral Home. Rosary: 7 pm, Thursday, at Kubena Funeral Home. Officiate: Msgr. John Peters. Pallbearers: David Bunch, Gene Davis, Garrett Drozd, Monte Peck, Matthew Fowler, and Ross Fowler. Memorials: Sacred Heart Catholic Church, or Donor's Choice. Burial: Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery.
