Obituary

Mrs. Georgie Anne Jobb, 72, of Hallettsville, died January 28, 2007. She was born on July 14, 1934 to Alex Frank & Annie Ressler Janak in the Wied Community. She married Clyde John Jobb on October 29, 1956 at St. Mary's Church.

Georgie was a member of Christian Mothers, KJZT, V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary, and Czech Heritage Society. She was also a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Hallettsville.

Georgie is survived by: 3-daughters, Denise Moore & husband John of Schulenburg, Susan Opela & husband Keith of Hallettsville, and Kelly Schimcek & husband Bruce of Hallettsville; brother Al F. Janak & wife Joy of Yoakum; 2-sisters, Helen Janik & husband Laddie of Shiner, and Dolores Dobbs & husband Glenn of Hallettsville; 7-grandchildren, John F. Moore Jr., Sarah A. Moore Matula, Kyle D. Moore, Emily A. Schimcek, Taylor M. Opela, Brennan C. Schimcek, and Kellen S. Opela; and nieces and nephews.

Georgie was preceded in death by: husband Clyde on February 3, 1986; and parents Alex Frank & Annie Ressler Janak.

Service: 10 am, Wednesday, January 31, 2007 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Visitation: Noon, Tuesday at Kubena Funeral Home. Rosaries: 7pm, Tuesday at Kubena Funeral Home, and 9:30am, Wednesday at Sacred Heart Church. Officiate: Rev. John Peters. Burial: Sacred Heart Cemetery. Memorials: Sacred Heart Music Fund.
