Georgia Mae Schneider Bludau, 92, of Rosenberg, passed away on January 4, 2026. She was born on December 10,1933, in Hallettsville, Tx to her parents Alvin Frank & Annie Mary (Kalcak) Schneider. She attended Hallettsville High School. A true competitor at heart, she excelled in basketball, volleyball, softball and band. After she graduated from high school in 1952, she attended the Renger Memorial Hospital Vocational Nursing School graduating as an LVN. She worked as a nurse over the next 60 years. She loved to travel with her coworkers to continued education nursing events throughout Texas.
As a mother of 3 and 5 grandchildren, Granny G instilled her strong values and Catholic beliefs in her family. Granny G was a strong believer in prayer always keeping her rosary close. She also was an example of strength, dedicating her life to providing for Tim, Randy and Lisa while working full-time as a nurse. She worked tirelessly, often juggling extra shifts or a second job to ensure her children had every opportunity, putting their needs far ahead of her own.
Granny G was an avid Mets and Golden State Warriors fan. She enjoyed an occasional gambling bet with grandson Max when her Mets were in the play offs.
Granny G was preceded by: her parents Alvin & Annie Schneider; siblings, Evelyn Hoffer (Leo), Wilma Mae Peterson (Dr. Donald), Alvin Schneider Jr, (Judy) and Frank Leopold (brother-in-law); and nephews, Dwyane Janak, Steven Leopold and Patrick Leopold.
Granny G is survived by: children, Timothy Bludau (Anita), Randy Bludau (Lisa) and Lisa Reaves; grandchildren, Mitchell Bludau (Kami), Max Reaves, Sydney Crabtree (Kasey), Jose Bludau and Krystal Bludau; great-grandchildren, Layne Bludau, Lily Bludau, Kollins Crabtree and Garner Crabtree; and 20 nieces & nephews.
Georgia's life will be celebrated on January 31, 2026, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Hallettsville, Tx. Visitation will start at 9 am with Rosary at 10 am and Funeral Mass at 10:30 am.
