George Victor Baca Sr., 96, of Cookville, TX, passed away Sept. 13, 2016. He was born on April 7, 1920 to Will & Frances Belicek Baca in Breslau, TX. He married Bertha Mae Ristow on May 3, 1942 in La Vernia, TX. He was a WWII veteran.

George is survived by: 2 sons, George V. Baca Jr. & wife Aurora of Spring, TX, and Gerald W. Baca of Mount Pleasant, TX; daughter Sandra E. Robinson & husband William of Midland, TX; 5 grandchildren, Adora A. Baca, Andrea M. Kelly, George V. Baca III, Jeanne B. Dietsch, and April E. Robinson; and 4 great grandchildren, Evelyn A Dietsch, Andrew W. Kelly, Spence G. Kelly, and Katherine G. Baca.

George was preceded in death by: his wife Bertha; parents; and 2 brothers, Eddie and Joe Baca.

Graveside Service: 11 am, Saturday, Sept. 17, 2016, at Breslau Cemetery in Breslau, TX. Visitation: 10 am to 10:30 am Saturday at Kubena Funeral Home. Officiant: Pastor Ray Hagan. Memorials: Donor's Choice. Burial: Breslau Cemetery.
