Frankie Louis Klimitchek, 53, passed away on March 16, 2019 in Richwood, Texas. He was born on August 23, 1965, in Yoakum, the youngest of six children to Rosie Joyce DeBord Klimitchek & the late Richard Carl Klimitchek Sr. He grew up on the family farm in Ezzell, Texas, with his four sisters and one brother. His days were filled with farm and ranch work, hunting, fishing and family get togethers.
Frankie attended Ezzell School in his early years and then graduated from Hallettsville High School in 1983. He attended Blinn Jr. College from 1983 to 1985. In 1986, he enlisted in the United States Marines. He served in various locations including Norfolk, Virginia; Okinawa, Japan and 29 Palms, California. He was honorably discharged from the Marines in 1990, having received the rank of Corporal.
Frankie completed his BS degree in psychology at Chapman College in Orange, California while serving in the Marines. He had a varied work career having been employed by the Highway Dept., Gulf Bend MHMR, BESS Electric and most recently Shin Tech in Freeport.
Frankie is survived by: his mother Joyce Klimitchek of Ezzell; his five siblings, Joycelyn Kozelsky & husband Louis of Edna, Carolyn Ebert & husband David of Pasadena, Richard Klimitchek Jr. & wife Sheila of Hallettsville, Linda Van Sant & husband Gary of Waller, and Sharon Bitter & husband David of Double Oak. He also is survived by 11 nieces and nephews, Kristin Kozelsky Marek & husband, David of Edna, Louis (Skipper) Kozelsky III of Philadelphia, PA, Andrea Ebert Jones & husband Justin of Chesterfield, VA, Victoria Ebert Jefferson & husband Matthew of Pasadena, Alyson Klimitchek of Hallettsville, Amy Klimitchek Marcak & husband Drew of Moulton, Adrienne Klimitchek of Flatonia, PO2 Joshua Van Sant of Pearl Harbor, HI, Jacob Van Sant of Waller, Kelsey Bitter of Dallas, and Blake Bitter of Midland. Also surviving Frankie are five great nieces and nephews, Jacklynn and Bradley Marek of Edna, Layla Jones of Chesterfield, VA, Alexander Jefferson of Pasadena, and Aubrey Marcak of Moulton. He is also survived by special friend Roseann Macon.
Frankie was preceded in death by his father, Richard Klimitchek Sr.
A Memorial Mass Service will be held at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Koerth, TX beginning with Holy Rosary at 1:30 pm; followed by Mass at 2 pm on Sunday March 24, 2019 with Rev. Dominic Antwi-Boasiako officiating.

Reception: All are invited to join the family for food and fellowship following the Mass at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church Parish Hall.
