Mr. Frankie D. Cada, 86, of Hallettsville, died Jan. 6, 2008. He was born on Sept. 24, 1921 to the late John & Mary Ulcak Cada in Lavaca County, Texas. He was a member of the St. Mary's Catholic Church.

Frankie is survived by friend and neighbor Michael & Sandy Konvicka, and numerous cousins.

Service: 2:00 pm, Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2008 at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Visitation: 1:00 pm, Wednesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Rosary: 1:30 pm, Wednesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Officiate: Rev. John Peters. Pallbearers: R.L. Orsak, Franklin Mozisek, Alois Janak, Randy Janak, A.J. Kutach, and Mike Konvicak. Burial: St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery. Memorials: St. Mary's Church or Hospice of South Texas.
