Frank is survived by: 2 sons, Richard Smolik & wife Stephanie of Hallettsville, and Ryan Smolik & wife LeeAnne of Hallettsville; 3 sisters, Helen Belcik of Hallettsville, Irene Bush of San Antonio, Texas, and Margaret Dolezal of Hallettsville; and 3 grandchildren, Amber, Tristan, and Raven Smolik.

Frank was preceded in death by his parents Frank Alois & Pauline Kutach Smolik.

Service: 2pm, Sunday, Dec. 10, 2006 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Koerth, Texas. Visitation: Noon, Saturday at Kubena Funeral Home. Wake Service: 7pm, Saturday at Kubena Funeral Home. Officiate: Rev. Charles Sonnier. Burial: Koerth Catholic Cemetery. Memorials: St. John the Baptist Catholic Church or Cemetery. Pallbearers: Greg Shimek, David Svab, Brandon Roberts, Paul Hanslik, Brain Kouba, Harold Dolezal, Harvey Pavliska, and David Bohuslav.
