Gutierrez Sr.
July 9, 1949 – September 24, 2013
On February 15, 1969, Frank J. Gutierrez married Ernestine (Ernie) Ramirez. The couple settled thirty years in Hallettsville, TX. They moved to Inez, TX, where they lived fourteen years. He retired at an early age of 62, due to courageously battling cancer.
During their 44 years of marriage, they had three children, ten grandchildren, and one upcoming great granddaughter. Surviving family members are: Wife Ernie Gutierrez; oldest daughter Jeanette Gutierrez Bartley (son-in-law Kris) and their 6 children, Kristen (NeNe), Kayla, Jesette, Jillian, Jessica (great grandbaby Charley), and Dustin Bartley; son Frank Gutierrez Jr. and his son Jeremiah Santiago Gutierrez; daughter Kim Gutierrez Caballero (son-in-law James) and their three children, Jacob, Alexis, and Emily Caballero. Also surviving: three sisters, Manuela Amador (husband Richard), Frances Vega of Victoria, TX, and Flora Villareal (husband Israel) of Yoakum; four brothers, Jimmy Gutierrez (wife Sarah), Albert Gutierrez (wife Rosie) of Hallettsville, Ben Gutierrez (wife Mary) of Yoakum, TX, and Sam Gutierrez (wife Lupe) of Schulenburg, TX.
Frank was a loving husband, father, and proud Popo. He loved riding horses and spending time with his family. Frank appreciated his employers, co-workers, and had a special bond with Col. Robert Kubena. Together they enjoyed the nature of the ranch, hunting, and their annual family nacho night. He was a member of Faith Family Church, and loved to give thanks to the Lord. His favorite scriptures were Psalm 91 and Ephesians 6:10-17.
Memorial Funeral Service: 10:30 am, Saturday, Sept. 28, 2013 at Faith Family Church, 2002 E. Mockingbird Lane, Victoria, TX. Visitation: 9:30 am, Saturday, at Faith Family Church.
