Frances Motal Walleck Meneley, 95, of Hallettsville, passed away Jan. 10, 2014. She was born on Oct. 3, 1918 to Henry & Annie Netardus Motal in Lavaca County, TX. She married Jim H. Walleck on Sept. 1, 1975 in San Antonio; he passed away on Aug. 1, 1986. She later married David E. Meneley on June 13, 1992 in Pleasanton, TX; he passed away on Feb. 10, 2006. She was a member of KJZT, American Legion Ladies Auxiliary of Sweet Home, and Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Hallettsville.

Frances is survived by: 2 brothers, Henry G. Motal of Austin, and Vaclav Motal of Hallettsville; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Frances was preceded by: her 1st and 2nd husbands; parents; and brother Charles J. Motal.

Funeral Mass Service: 11 am, Monday, January 13, 2014 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Hallettsville.
Visitation: 4 pm, Sunday, at Kubena Funeral Home.
Rosary: 6 pm, Sunday, at Kubena Funeral Home.
Officiant: Msgr. John Peters.
Pallbearers (nephews): Martin Motal, Charles Motal, Douglas Motal, Daniel Motal, Steven Pilat, and Michael Pilat.
Memorials: Sacred Heart Catholic Church, St. Mary's Catholic Church, or donor's choice.
Burial: St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery.
