Mrs. Frances A. King, 91, of Hallettsville, died Nov. 28, 2007. She was born on June 7, 1916 to John & Rozina Woytek Martisak in Lavaca County, Texas. She was married to William H. King, who died Jan. 15, 1975. She was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church in Hallettsville. Frances is survived by: 2 sons, William F. King & wife Christine of San Antonio, and John T. King & wife Edwina of Gillsville, GA; 5 grandchildren; and 1 great-grandchild.

Frances was preceded in death by her husband William; grandson William F. King II; parents; 2 brothers, John and Rudolph; and 4 sisters, Tracy, Pollie, Agnes, and Julia.

Service: 10 am, Friday, Nov. 30, 2007 at Kubena Funeral Home. Visitation: 4 pm, Thursday at Kubena Funeral Home. Officiate: Rev. Herb Beyer. Pallbearers: Billy Kloppenburg, Charles Jahn, Glenn Martisak, Johnny Martisak, Edwin Gallia, and Emory Gallia. Memorials: Hospice of South Texas. Burial: Hallettsville City Cemetery.
