Obituary

Mrs. Frances Edwards Hall, 99, of Hallettsville, TX, formally of Amarillo, TX, died May 5, 2007. She was born on Feb. 3, 1908 to James L. & Maybelle Williams Exum in Jones County, TX. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Amarillo, and taught Sunday School for close to 60 years. She was also the former owner and president of Amarillo Dr. Pepper Bottling Co.

Frances is survived by: 2 sons, Ron Edwards & wife Marilyn of Temple, TX, and Bob Edwards & wife Jane of Hallettsville; 7 grandchildren, Walt Mayne of Portales, NM, Jim Mayne & wife Robin of Fort Worth, TX, David Mayne of New York, Jim Edwards & wife Jill of New Braunfels, TX, Fran Edwards of San Antonio, TX, Jan Loudamy & husband Larry of Mansfield, TX, and Sandy Moore & husband Mark of Lawn, TX; numerous great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Frances was preceded in death by: 1st husband Jack Edwards; 2nd husband Bob Hall; daughter Joyce Mayne; parents; 3 sisters; and 5 brothers.

Graveside Service: 10 am, Monday, May 7, 2007 at Hallettsville City Cemetery. Visitation: 4 pm, Sunday at Kubena Funeral Home. Officiate: Rev. Mark Moore. Memorials (in lieu of flowers): Hospice of South Texas, 404 North Texana Street, Hallettsville, TX 77964.
