Eunice Ann Stary Christ, 80, went to her Heavenly home on June 16, 2014 to be with the Lord and her awaiting and loving husband Lawrence Christ, Sr. She was born on November 25, 1933 in Moulton, Texas. Eunice was preceded in death by her parents Frank and Annie Stary, brother Victor Stary and husband of 56 years, Lawrence Christ, Sr.

Eunice married Lawrence Christ, Sr. on Oct 1, 1951 in Shiner, Texas. She worked in the electronic assembly medical field for many years in Houston, Texas before retiring back to Hallettsville, Texas in 1980. She had a unique talent and passion for crocheting, crafts, gardening, baking and canning. Eunice had a generous and caring spirit and was much loved as a mother, grandmother and devoted wife. Eunice found her greatest joy in watching her grandchildren grow up and was happiest when her family was altogether for any occasion. Eunice was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Hallettsville, Texas.

Eunice is survived by her two sons Lawrence H. Christ, Jr. and wife Maggie of Goliad, Lee Roy Christ and wife Teri of Jersey Village, two sisters Adela Wagner of Victoria and Agnes Okruhlik of Schulenburg, three grandchildren Rachel Christ Rountree and husband Cory of Austin, Ryan L. Christ of Hurst, and Luke H. Christ and wife Rebecca of Corpus Christi.

Funeral Mass Service: 11 am Thursday, June 19, 2014, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Hallettsville. Visitation: 4 pm, Wednesday, at Kubena Funeral Home with Rosary starting at 7 pm. Officiant: Msgr. John Peters. Pallbearers: Ryan Christ, Luke Christ, John Patlovany, Cory Rountree, Mark Sheffield, and Alton Christ. Entombment: Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery. Memorials (in lieu of Flowers): Hospice of South Texas, Sacred Heart Catholic Church, or charity of your choice.
