Eunice Judd, 89, of Sublime, TX, was taken to be with the good Lord on March 20, 2009. She was born on March 24, 1919, in Sublime to Justice Lawrence "Bonnie" and Tillie Meyer Schott. Eunice married Sam Judd on August 27, 1935. They were blessed with eight children. She was a member of Sublime First Baptist Church.

Eunice enjoyed playing dominoes, especially 42 or 88. Sam and Eunice worked hard and enjoyed getting together with friends and neighbors.

Eunice is survived by: 4 sons, Arthur Gene Judd & wife Sylvia of Rosharon, TX, Sammie Judd & wife Elizabeth of Hallettsville, Russell Judd & wife Sherrice of Yoakum, and Alan Ray Judd & wife Sharon of Hallettsville; sister Helen "Mutt" Judd of Cuero; grandchildren, Deborah Judd Orr, Tammy Judd Byrant, Cynthia Judd Heffernan, Cindy Judd, Stephen Judd, Kim Judd Arnold, Allison Judd Machicek, Sammie Lynn Judd Zappe, Jacque Judd Baisden, Rachel Judd, Kasey Lynn Judd, Connor Judd, Henry L. Holland, Amy Holland, Byron Holland, Dee Ann Stastny, Tiffany Olin, Brittany Hollmann, Jordan Hollmann, and Hannah Hollmann; and 25 great grandchildren.

Eunice was preceded in death by: her husband Sam; daughter Alice Fay Judd; 3 sons, Bobby Lee, Donald, and Larry Judd; parents Justice L. & Tillie Schott; and 2 grandsons, Henry and Ronald.

Visitation will begin at 1:00 pm on Monday, March 23, 2009. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, March 24, 2009. Pastor George Hayhurst will conduct the services concluding at the Geiger Cemetery . All services will be held at the Kubena Funeral Home in Hallettsville, TX

Pallbearers are Stephen Judd, Blake Arnold, Shawn Heffernan, Michael Zappe, Allen Machicek, and Connor Judd.
