Eugene A. Garza, 75, of Sheridan, passed away January 3, 2023.  He was born on June 21, 1947, to Lupe & Antonia Guarrado Garza, in Hallettsville.  He married Cecilia Nieto at Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Hallettsville.  He was a veteran in the US Army and member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

Eugene is survived by:  his wife Cecilia; 2 sons, Eric & Chad Garza; brother Adrian Garza; 2 sisters, Verna Quiroga & Virginia Garza; 6 grandchildren; and 1 great grandchild.

Eugene was preceded in death by:  his parents; 2 brothers, Paul & Marvin Garza; and 2 sisters, Patsy Wasicek & Alma Munoz.

Funeral Mass Service: 10 am, Tuesday, January 10, 2023, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Hallettsville. Visitation starting at 5 pm, Monday, with Rosary starting at 7 pm, at Kubena Funeral Home. Officiant: Rev. James Dvorak. Memorials: donor's choice. Burial: Cheetham Cemetery, Sheridan, TX.
